Agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) met in Oguk-ri, Anak County of South Hwanghae Province, on July 5 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, Pak Thae Sop, secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials of the UAWK and agricultural workers in Anak County.

At the meeting, speakers praised the immortal revolutionary career and exploits of the President who made untiring efforts for the development of the country's agriculture, walking along the long and rugged roads between farm fields till the last moments of his life.

They said that they can never forget the loving care shown by the great father who visited the farm again and again with parental affection to discuss farming work with agricultural workers and provided it with the lorries and tractors secured with his share sent by the farm.

The performers called upon all the agricultural workers to become true patriotic farmers defending and supporting the Party with increased grain production, saying that a new era of rural development is being ushered in on this land under the wise guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is making a long journey of devotion to the people.
