Russian Defence Minister Andrei Beloussov ordered the general staff of the armed forces of the Russian Federation to take measures to rapidly respond to the US’ recent provocations in the air above the Black Sea.

Referring to them, the Russian Ministry of Defence on June 28 said that the number of flights of the US strategic drones has increased in the air above the sea and as they commit spying activities, the drones choose targets for the West-made high-precision weapons provided to the Ukrainian army to strike Russia.

It shows that the US and NATO member nations have become more deeply involved in the conflict in Ukraine, the ministry noted.

The ministry said such air spying activities double the probability of unexpected incidents and, therefore, there is a growing danger of direct clash between NATO and Russia. NATO member nations will be wholly to blame for it, it added.
