The DPRK embassy in Laos hosted a reception on June 27 to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the DPRK and Laos.

Present there at invitation were the vice-prime minister and foreign minister who is member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, and personages of the Committee for External Affairs of the LPRP, the foreign ministry and other government bodies, political parties, organizations and institutions.

The ambassador and officials of the DPRK embassy were on hand.

Speeches were made there.
