New houses have appeared at the Yangji Farm in Songwon County of Jagang Province.

Hundreds of low- and single-storey dwelling houses sprang up along the foot of the mountains and trees of good species and flowering shrubs were planted around the new villages. They have all necessary conditions for living.

Present at the ceremony for moving into those houses were Han Chil Song, secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials, builders and agricultural workers in the county.

Kim Yong Chun, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a congratulatory address. Then licences for using houses were handed over and speeches made.

Amid the playing of cheerful peasants' music and dancing, officials visited the owners of new houses to share joy with them.
