Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, hosted a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club in Pyongyang on June 11 to mark the national day of Russia.

Present there at invitation were Yun Jong Ho, minister of External Economic Relations, Im Chon Il, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Army Lieutenant General Kim Min Sop, vice-minister of National Defence, Ri Chang Sik, vice-minister of Education, Kim Ik Song, director of the Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps, officials concerned and diplomatic envoys and military attaches of foreign embassies in the DPRK.

Staff members of the Russian embassy were on hand.

Speeches were made there.

The Russian consulate general in Chongjin, too, hosted a reception on the same day.
