Kongdok-ri has undergone a great change in Hongwon County of South Hamgyong Province.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on May 28.

Present there were Choe Hung Jo, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials in Hongwon County, builders, working people and agricultural workers who would move into the houses.

Kim Yong Sik, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, delivered a congratulatory address.

Licences for the use of houses were handed over and speeches were made.

At the end of the meeting, officials visited the owners of the new houses to share joy with them.
