Shortly ago, a white policeman throttled a black man to death in Ohio. The cop moved in at a report of a car crash and pressed with his knee the neck of the man in lodgings, who appeared to be a driver, to detain him, thus putting him in a coma on April 18.  

The black man was driven to a hospital and proved dead.

A released video showed the man detained by the cop repeatedly complaining that he could not breathe. 

Such killings of black people by white policemen continue without let-up in the US.

In the country, it is the plight of black people to be subjected to all manner of maltreatment and contempt and fall prey to white cops’ hunt for no other reason than their skin colour.

As was known, four years ago, a white policeman pressed down on the neck of African-American George Floyd with his knee for eight minutes to death. Three months after that, a black man was killed by another white cop, riddled with seven bullets, in Wisconsin.

In April 2022, a white cop shot at the head of an unarmed black man in Michigan, and in June white policemen rained more than 60 bullets on a young black man in Ohio, claiming that he did not comply with their request.

On January 7 2023, five cops forcibly dragged a 29-year-old black driver out of his car and used tear gas on the face of the resisting driver. When he tried to escape, they grabbed him again using electric shock and beat him with clubs and fists. He was taken to hospital but died there.

A few days before the incident, an African-American teacher was killed by electric shock used by police in Los Angeles, California. 

Whenever such incident occurs, the US judicial authorities shield and back white cops under the pretext of “self-defense” and “execution of official duties”.

The ceaseless killing of black people by white cops in the US is a product of the deep-rooted racist history of the country. 

The black persons and ethnic minorities living in the US are subjected to all sorts of discrimination in all fields of social life and are forced to lead a subhuman life. 

The average income of black people is 43.8% of white people’s and the average property of black families is less than a tenth of white families’. 

The uniform of an American company has an insignia symbolizing white employees and there is an exclusive toilet for white persons. They call black employees “black devils” and “monkeys” and insult them with racist remarks.

They discriminate against even black children. In the education sector, black students’ probability of being suspended or expelled from school is three times higher than that of white students. Therefore, black students have constantly been the target of racial discrimination and maltreatment and so they kill themselves as a show of their bitter anger.

As to this, a university professor of the country deplored that there is an ideological trend of obvious distinction between black and white persons in the US, which has been concealed under the veil of “everyone is equal”.

The American media also admitted that the US has no vaccine for racism.

People are in constant anxiety and fear due to racial discrimination in the country where they are discriminated and even killed because of differences in race and skin colour.

Racial discrimination is the malignant tumour and social evil peculiar to the US.
