A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry rejected Japan’s criticism against the country in a press conference on April 16.

Japan slandered China in its 2024 diplomatic blue book published shortly ago. As regards the fact, the spokesman said that China resolutely opposes Japan’s relevant document, which clamours against “threat from China” while repeating old tone of argument, since it unreasonably interferes in China’s internal affairs.

He strongly demanded that Japan redress its wrongdoings and refrain from inciting or encouraging confrontation.
