China rejects sanctions by EU
March 1, 2024A press spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Commerce rejected the sanctions moves of the European Union in a press conference on February 26.
Answering a journalist with regard to the fact that the EU included four Chinese enterprises in the sanctions list against Russia for the thirteenth time, the spokesman said that China resolutely opposes them as they are a unilateral act with no international legal ground.
Despite of the repeated protest and opposition by China, the European Union obstinately decided to impose sanctions on the Chinese enterprises, he said, urging it to discontinue unjust sanctions unconditionally.
