Russian president pays floral tribute at Tomb of Unknown Soldier
February 27, 2024Russian President Vladimir Putin laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier beside the Kremlin walls in Moscow on February 23 to mark the Day of Defenders of the Motherland.
He observed a moment’s silence in memory of all the fallen defenders of the country.
That day, he made a congratulatory speech through video conferencing.
He extended greetings to war veterans, service personnel, civilians who serve in the armed forces sector and all the people who had done their military service.
He wished all Russian citizens new successes in protecting the security of the country.
