Women’s football match held between DPRK and Japanese teams
February 27, 2024The first match between the DPRK and Japanese teams of the third round of the Asian Zone Qualifiers for the 33rd Olympic Games women's football event took place in Saudi Arabia on February 24.
The match ended 0-0.
The next match of the two teams will take place in Japan on February 28.
The third round brought together the teams of the DPRK, Australia, Uzbekistan and Japan which proved successful in the second round.
According to the rules of the games, each team will compete with the other teams twice and the two teams high in total points will be qualified for the Olympic Games.
