The Iranian Foreign Minister condemned the US on an SNS on February 21 for exercising its veto again on a resolution of the UN Security Council appealing for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

He said that the repeated exercise of veto by the US shows that the White House is responsible for the ceaseless genocide and war crimes which are committed in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the US behaviour proves once again in front of the world that Washington has no intention to settle the present crisis and humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip, but tries to constantly expand the regional crisis.
