On March 31 1982, Chairman Kim Jong Il made public the immortal classic work “On the Juche Idea”. The work is an immortal encyclopedia which comprehensively encapsulated and systematized in an all-round way the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung.

The Juche idea is an idea that the masses of the people are masters of the revolution and construction and they are also the motive force of them. In other words, it is the idea that man is the master of his destiny and he has the power to shape his destiny.

By establishing a man-centred philosophical idea and revolutionary theory and leadership method centred on the masses of the people, the Juche idea clearly indicates the way for successfully pushing ahead with the revolution and construction by relying on revolutionary and scientific ideological theories, strategy and tactics and methods however complicated the circumstances and conditions may be.

DPRK player Han Il Ryong came first at the 20th Asian Marathon Championships.

The championships, held in China on March 30, brought together more than 70 men and women players from 19 countries and regions, including the DPRK, China and Mongolia.

In the men’s marathon Han Il Ryong renewed the record of the Asian Marathon Championships by clocking 2 hours, 11 minutes and 18 seconds and won a gold medal.

DPRK wrestlers have proved successful at the 2025 Asian Wrestling Championship.

Han Chong Song advanced to the final match on March 29 (local time) after beating all his opponents in the men’s 57kg category of freestyle wrestling.

In the final, he beat an Iranian player 8-1 to take the first place.

Yun So Gwang, teacher of Kaesong Middle School No. 1 with a 20-odd-year teaching career, is held in respect by many students and their parents as a true educator and teacher.

Ri Yong Hui, teacher of the mathematics department of Kusong Middle School No. 1 in North Phyongan Province who has been standing on the platform for nearly 30 years, is appreciated as a master in inventing new teaching methods and model lessons.

In recent years alone, she has developed programs of significance conducive to improving the abilities of students in maths and worked out and introduced more than 10 new teaching methods including a discussion-oriented teaching method which developed the students’ cognitive faculty and fostered their application ability in the course of practical activities using various control programs in the maths subject.

Particularly, a heuristic maths teaching method she developed last year came first in the natural science section of the 30th national symposium on teaching methods and she gave a demonstration lesson. The method deduced a theorem on proportional line segment of a triangle and enhanced the application ability of students through practical outdoor activities.

It is a typical act of seeking supremacy and a serious violation of basic principles of international law and relationship that the US administration enforces unilateral sanctions at random by abusing the export control means, he stressed.

Strongly demanding the US stop using economic trade and science and technology as political tools and weapons and putting pressure on Chinese businesses, he noted that China will take necessary measures to defend the legitimate rights and interests of its businesses.
