A spokesman for the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK said on October 18 that the ROK military gangsters' involvement in the serious provocation of violating the DPRK's sovereignty was clearly proved through the discovery of decisive material evidence and an objective and scientific investigation into it.

According to him, the Pyongyang Municipal Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security of the DPRK on October 13 discovered the remains of a crashed drone in the area of neighborhood unit No. 76, Sopho-dong No. 1, Hyongjesan District, while intensively searching the districts of Pyongyang Municipality.

A joint investigation group of the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of State Security and other relevant specialized institutions was organized to technically examine the remains of the drone.

The Yoltusamchon Farm in Sukchon County of South Phyongan Province reaped a rich harvest again, following last year.

The rich harvest gathered by the farm this year is a precious fruition of the officials and the agricultural workers of the farm who devoted all their sincerity to farming all the year round, true to the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea on scientific farming.

The farmers held a meeting for account settlement and income distribution on October 17 with the pride of exceeding the peak-year level again.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ri Sun Ae, a centenarian living in neighbourhood unit No. 18 of Pongthae-ri in Ryongyon County, South Hwanghae Province, on her 100th birthday.

The whole village congratulated her family on the auspicious event.

She was deeply impressed by the loving care shown by Kim Jong Un who sent a birthday spread even to an ordinary old woman.

The Scientific Search Prize was awarded to exemplary university students who have devoted their wisdom and efforts to study.

Young students across the DPRK presented many inventions and technical innovation proposals conducive to the country's economic development and the improvement of the people's living standards by briskly conducting the search activities to attain the peak of latest science.

A meeting for awarding the University Student Scientific Search Prize took place at the Central Youth Hall in Pyongyang on October 17.

The DPRK embassy in Moscow hosted a reception on October 15 to mark the 76th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the DPRK and Russia.

Present there at invitation were Mikhail Bogdanov, vice foreign minister, and other personages of the government, organizations and institutions, including the Federation Council of Russia, the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology, the Ministry of Transport and the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK.

On hand were the DPRK ambassador to Russia and his embassy staff members.

Overseas Koreans' organizations issued press and other statements to condemn the scum of the ROK for their serious provocation of violating the sovereignty of the DPRK.

Cha Sang Bo, vice-chairman of the General Association of Koreans in China (GAKC), in a press statement on October 14 said that the GAKC and all the Koreans in China are filled with the surging anger and revengeful thought against the puppet ROK scum's thrice-cursed reckless act of infiltrating drones into the sky over the capital city of the DPRK to scatter the dirty political agitation rubbish.

The Yoon Suk Yeol puppet clan should not run amuck, being clearly aware that the provocation against the DPRK is a suicidal act of cutting off their windpipes with their own hands, he said, adding that if the puppet ROK flies drones carrying dirty political agitation rubbish into the sacred sky over the homeland again, disregarding the DPRK's patience and warning, they will be doomed to miserable death.

The ROK puppets with no blood, warmth and soul are shaking their fists at the sky. 

It was really an absurdity, but when we sincerely admonished them, the puppets have overstepped the mark talking gibberish they themselves cannot understand. 

Even cute children are spanked when they grumble too much. But as the ugliest guys in the world play “cute”, letting loose a spate of incoherence, it is disgusting to see and hear them. 

Japan’s Tokyo Shimbun, in an editorial recently published on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the adoption of the security-related law, said that though the possibility for Japan to enter war has become seriously stronger as it has become able to exercise the right of “collective self-defence” and the possession of the capability for striking enemy bases has been added to the law, the government continues to expand armaments under the signboard of “exclusive defence”, still talking about “within the range of exclusive defence”, and asserted that such a move must not be allowed any longer.

“Exclusive defence” is the favourite phrase that the successive Japanese authorities have chanted whenever they argued for the policy on building a military power.

The annual defence white papers, which have been issued since 1976, have specified that exclusive defence means the posture of passive defence strategy, based on the spirit of the constitution, with which Japan uses its defence capabilities only when it has been militarily attacked by other country and confines the use of the capabilities to the minimum needed to defend itself, and that the Self-Defence Forces shall not possess long-range missiles, strategic bombers, aircraft carriers, etc. to this end.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on October 14 told the international import forum “Russian-made” that his country has overcome its dependence on import.

Until some time ago, Russia was an importer in terms of indices of many foodstuffs and especially it depended on import for the most important items including grains, poultry, pork and many kinds of vegetables, he said.

Now, however, the situation has changed and Russia has become a large-scale exporter, he added.
