The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a flower basket and a congratulatory letter from the diplomatic corps in Pyongyang on the occasion of the 113th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

The Russian ambassador, doyen of the diplomatic corps, and the Vietnamese ambassador handed the flower basket and the congratulatory letter over to an official concerned on April 14.

Earlier, Kim Jong Un received flower baskets and congratulatory letters from the Vietnamese ambassador and the Cuban ambassador, congratulatory letters from the Nicaraguan ambassador and the Iranian charge d'affaires ad interim, and a flower basket from the Syrian embassy. 

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received flower baskets from personages of Russia on April 14 on the occasion of the 113th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

The personages included Galina Tsigler, managing director of the Tauer Co. Ltd., Yuri Kurkin, general manager of the Domostroy Co. Ltd., Oleg Samsonov, managing director of the Stroysnab Co. Ltd., Andrei Morkel, rector of the Irkutsk Baikal Institute of Management, Andrei Verkin, chief of the Yekaterinburg City Branch of the Sodeistvie Art and Human Culture Institute, Constantin Ovcharenko, managing director of the Rimeko Co. Ltd., Pyotr Rashikov, general manager of the SP Alliance Stroy Co. Ltd., and Vladimir Shishmakov, managing director for commerce of the Remeslo Group.

Flower baskets were sent to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang on the occasion of the Day of the Sun by the Association of Korean Nationals in Dandong City of China and its branches, and the General Association of Traders of Korean Nationality in Dandong City of China.

The flower baskets were laid at the statues of the great leaders on April 14.

Also placed at the statues of the great leaders on the same day was a flower basket in the name of Pei Guanglin, general manager of the Chinese Hunchun Taixi Electronics Trade Co. Ltd.

Organizations and personages of different countries and families of persons related to the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung sent flower baskets to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.

Placed at the statues of the great leaders on April 14 were flower baskets in the name of the Association for Praying for Immortality of the Palace of the Sun in Dandong City of China under the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation, the German Executive Committee of the Group for International Solidarity with the DPRK, Giancarlo Elia Valori, president of the International Group of Italy, Michael Koth, chairman of the Anti-Imperialist Forum of Germany, Andre Lohekele Kalonda, secretary general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, Tolomeo Miko Nsibi Angono, deputy general director for Tourism of the Presidential Office of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Antonio Mete Chicampo, mayor of Baney in Equatorial Guinea, Wang Dongsheng, manager of the Chinese Hong Kong Wansen Investment Co. Ltd., Tian Yuanshuang, manager of the Shandong Provincial Rizhao Fengchuan International Mining Trade Co. Ltd. of China, Sun Juli, general manager of the Friendship Import and Export Co. On the same day, Cui Tongwen, chief director of the Wanjing Trade Co. Ltd. in Dandong of China, and members Cui Tongjun and Wang Shuli of the Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Foundation laid flower baskets at the statues of the great leaders.

Officials and members of the women's union met at the Hall of Women in Pyongyang on April 14 to celebrate the 113th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were officials concerned, officials of the women's union and union members in Pyongyang.

Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, made a report to be followed by speeches.

A joint national meeting of the Korean Children's Union organizations took place at Changdok School in Pyongyang on April 14 in celebration of the 113th anniversary of the birth of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung.

The meeting was attended by schoolchildren of Mangyongdae and Kang Pan Sok revolutionary schools, representatives of the KCU organizations of all provinces, schoolchildren in Pyongyang and those to be admitted to the KCU.

Present there at invitation were Choe Tong Myong, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, youth league officials and meritorious persons and labour innovators in Pyongyang.

A performance "Song of Happiness, Resound Louder" was given by art group members of the Pyongyang Students and Children’s Palace at the Pyongyang Municipal Youth Park Open-Air Theatre on April 14 in celebration of the 113th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Among the audience were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials concerned, officials of the youth league, students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School and schoolchildren in Pyongyang.

The performance began with prologue "Eternal April Holiday under the Care of the Marshal" amid boundless reverence for the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung who took the best care of children and made continuous journey of love and devotion for the bright future of the rising generations.

Young people and students held a meeting at the Youth League Hall on April 14 to celebrate the 113th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and youth and students.

The speakers at the meeting praised the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung who ushered in the most glorious new era of Juche in the nation’s history spanning 5 000 years and led the socialist cause along the direct path towards victory with his outstanding ideology and rare leadership ability.

North Phyongan Province newly built an instant noodle factory and a schoolchildren's footwear factory in the city of Sinuiju.

The construction of the factories equipped with modern production lines has laid material and technical foundations for making the people's diet diverse and affluent, producing quality shoes and supplying them to schoolchildren.

The inauguration ceremonies of the North Phyongan Provincial Instant Noodle Factory and the Sinuiju Schoolchildren's Footwear Factory took place on the spot respectively on April 14.
