Radioactive-contaminated water leak in the US

March 23, 2023

The fact that hundreds of thousands of gallons of radioactive-contaminated water were leaked from an atomic power plant in Minnesota has recently been revealed to evoke public criticism.

A relevant organ of the state opened to the public last week the fact that there was a leak of the water containing tritium from the power plant, which exposed that the authorities had long concealed the serious problem.

The company running the power plant claimed it reported the leakage detected in the course of testing the underground water to the government in late November last year. Foreign media outlets reported that there is growing discontent at the irresponsible attitude of the government toward social safety over the fact that it has been closed to the public for four months.
