The World Health Organization decided to maintain an international public health emergency to cope with COVID-19 on January 30.
The organization said that the public health system has been under heavy burden as the novel coronavirus continues to mutate in the world and the flu virus and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) have been detected in their early stages in some areas.
According to the organization’s decision, the top-level alert will be maintained for three months more against the malignant infectious disease.
The WHO had declared an international public health emergency on January 30 2020.
