Russia and Iran signed an agreement for direct transaction between the banks of the two countries on January 29.

The conclusion of the agreement is the first step for implementing a bank cooperation plan worked out by the two countries last year.

This will reportedly boost bilateral cooperation in trade and financial fields.

Earlier on January 27, Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia concluded an agreement for developing cooperation in the field of transport.
