Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and Valeri Isaenko, military attache of the Russian embassy, hosted a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club in Pyongyang on February 22 on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of the Motherland.

Present there at invitation were Army Lieutenant General Kim Min Sop, vice-minister of National Defence, generals and officers of the Korean People's Army, officials concerned and diplomatic envoys of various countries and military attach?s of embassies in the country.

Also seen there were staff members of the Russian embassy.

Speeches were made at the event.

The participants drank a toast to the constant development of DPRK-Russia friendship.
