Sea Kumgang encompasses the area from Suwon Point in Kosong County, Kangwon Province, to Lagoon Hwajin with such beautiful lakes as Yongrang and Kam and the surrounding coast and sea in the east of Outer Kumgang.

In a wider sense, it also includes Chongsokjong in Thongchon County.

Sea Kumgang is one of the finest scenic spots which boasts beauties of peak, blue sea and seashore, lake and cliff.
