Pagyon Falls
February 19, 2023Pagyon Falls, located in Pagyon-ri of Kaesong City, is counted as one of the three famous waterfalls in Korea.
This waterfall is 37 metres high and 1.5 metres wide.
The crystal-clear water running down into a rugged ravine hits a large standing rock and rolls into Pak Pool before flowing down the rock wall forming the waterfall.
It cascades down faster than other waterfalls and is boisterous.
Once a broad and flat rock on top of the falls was dug in the shape of a bucket to form the singular Pak Pool and there is the standing rock large enough to seat several adults at the centre of the pool.
The waterfall looks more beautiful as it goes well with the rocks of fantastic shapes and forests around it.
