General Secretary Kim Jong Un’s Revolutionary Activities

Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on March 8.

He in the message extended warm congratulations to the president, government and people of the Syrian Arab Republic on behalf of the government and people of the DPRK and on his own behalf on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the March 8 Revolution in Syria.

He said that over the past 60 years after the March 8 Revolution the Syrian people have registered great successes in the struggle to achieve social and economic progress and development under the leadership of Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party.

Offering firm support and solidarity to the struggle of the Syrian people to defend the country's sovereignty and eradicate the earthquake damage as soon as possible, he expressed belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would continue to develop.
