Officials of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) and agricultural workers held an oratorical meeting on July 25 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.

Present there were Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the UAWK and agricultural workers in the municipality.

The speakers at the meeting praised the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung, who glorified the Korean people as the heroic people and the DPRK as heroic Korea by achieving a shining victory in the Fatherland Liberation War, and the noble mental world of the victorious wartime generation who defended the country at the cost of blood under the rain of bullets and shells.

Their enthusiastic and stirring speeches clearly showed the firm faith and will of the agricultural workers and members of the UAWK to add luster to the history and tradition of the great war victory for all ages and uphold the Party's grand programme for the rural revolution in the new era with proud success of rich harvest.
