The second meeting of the 25th convention of headquarters chairpersons of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) was convened at the Korean Hall in Tokyo, Japan, on March 16-17.

It was attended by Chairman Ho Jong Man, First Vice-Chairman and Organizational Department Director Pak Ku Ho, Vice-Chairman Nam Sung U, Vice-Chairman and Director General Pae  Jin  Gu and other members of  the  Chongryon Central Standing Committee and chiefs of Chongryon headquarters.

Present there as observers were counsellors and deputy department directors of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and members of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon.

The DPRK’s national anthem was played in the meeting. 

Pak Ku Ho made a report. 

He pointed to the need to drastically increase the intensity and speed of the intensive campaign by encouraging and expanding positive successes made in the drive for creating models in carrying out the tasks set forth in the important letter sent by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un. 

He called on the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon and chiefs of headquarters to greet the first anniversary of the publication of the historic letter of May 28 with new achievements and actual results to create new models by cherishing deep in their minds Kim Jong Un’s great political trust once again. 

Chiefs of headquarters made speeches on successes and experiences made and obtained in the efforts to create models in implementing the four-point tasks set forth in the historic letter.
