A meeting took place on Wednesday to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Paeumui Chollikil(1 000-ri journey for learning) Schoolchildren's Palace.

Present at the meeting were Kim Jang Won, secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and teaching staff and hobby group members of the palace.

Kim Hak Chol, chief of the palace, said in his report that the schoolchildren's palace is a home of love and a palace of happiness built under the benevolent care of the peerlessly great men who spared nothing for posterity, calling on all the teaching staff to devote their wisdom and energy to carrying out the Party’s education policy.
