The 14th Political Bureau Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea took place at the office building of the WPK Central Committee on March 1.

Attending it were members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and members and alternate members of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee.

Jo Yong Won, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary for Organizational Affairs of the WPK Central Committee, presided over the meeting.

The Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee deliberated on the draft resolutions reflecting the agricultural development plan and major economic issues on the basis of the opinions offered at the sectional study and consultative meetings of the Seventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee. It decided to examine the feasibility of the draft resolutions and finally complete them before reporting them to the plenary meeting.

The Political Bureau meeting also discussed and decided on amending and supplementing some provisions of the decision of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Party Central Committee.
