Kim Tok Hun, Choe Ryong Hae and Ri Pyong Chol, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, other senior Party and government officials and officials of the Party Central Committee, ministries, national agencies and armed forces organs visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star.

The Kumsusan Palace of the Sun where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, eternal leaders of the WPK, state and people and sacred images of socialist Korea, are preserved in their lifetime appearance was wrapped in a solemn atmosphere.

A basket of flowers in the name of General Secretary Kim Jong Un was placed before the statues of the President and the Chairman.

Flower baskets were laid before the statues also in the name of the WPK Central Committee, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the DPRK Supreme People’s Assembly and the DPRK Cabinet.

The participants paid high tribute to the great leaders at the statues.

At the hall of immortality where Kim Jong Il is preserved in his lifetime appearance, they made a bow to the Chairman, who had devoted his whole life to the sacred cause for the country and people holding high the red flag of Paektu to give eternal vitality to the glorious history of development of a prosperous Korea.

All the participants hardened their resolve to carry out their mission assigned by the Party, revolution and people by supporting the ideas and leadership of the General Secretary with absolute loyalty and perfect practical results to make substantial changes and strides in the struggle for the people’s well-being and the all-round rejuvenation of the country.
