Eighth National Conference of War Veterans to be held
The Eighth National Conference of War Veterans will be held in Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK, to mark war victory day.
The Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government decided to convene with splendour again a gathering of the Fatherland Liberation War veterans in reflection of the aspiration and will of all Party members and other working people and the younger generation to express highest glory to and deep respect for the revolutionary forerunners who handed down the precious tradition of victory as heritage and to creditably carry forward the spirit of defending the country and the revolution displayed by the generation of war victors.
Those who bravely fought at the frontline with arms in their hands during the Fatherland Liberation War are to participate in the Eighth National Conference of War Veterans on behalf of the victorious wartime generation who created the great heroic spirit of the DPRK, the glorious country.
All the war veterans across the country will have the honour of being participants in the conference.
