Party and state commendations were conferred on medics of the Korean People's Army who made distinguished military merits in the top-level emergency anti-epidemic campaign for defusing the health crisis in the capital in response to the special order of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea. A ceremony of awarding Party and state commendations took place at the April 25 House of Culture on Thursday. Present there were Jong Kyong Thaek, director of the KPA General Political Bureau, Ri Thae Sop, chief of the KPA General Staff, and other commanding officers and medics of the KPA.
