This year, tens of thousands of trees, which are associated with people’s sincerity, have taken root in the Arboretum of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun. 

The palace is the sacred place of the sun where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il are preserved in their lifetime appearance.

State institutions, social organizations and other units from across the country planted good species of trees and flowering shrubs with great care, including pine and pine-nut trees, and donated flower seeds and roots.

Party members and other working people, youth and students throughout the country planted and tended with great care good species of trees and rare flowering trees at the arboretum with the noble mind to cultivate them more beautifully while donating management tools.
