Schoolchildren who left Phophyong on March 16 for a 1 000-ri Journey for Learning passed Hyangsan.
In the course of the march, they visited the Chongun Inn and Huichon Inn revolutionary sites and other places to get a deep understanding of the revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung who had nurtured the great ambition of saving the destiny of the country and the people while going on the 1 000-ri journeys for learning and national liberation in his early years.
The study tourists arrived at the town of Hyangsan on March 26.
They laid a basket of flowers and bouquets before the statue of the President in the town.
They are speeding up their march to Mangyongdae after leaving the town on March 27.
