The chairman of the Iranian atomic energy agency in a speech on February 21 said that his country is pushing ahead with the construction of nuclear power plant despite the sanctions by the West.

The US is trying to check Iran’s construction of nuclear power plant, but the Iranian youth and scientists are acquiring the necessary technology and the construction is going on with their help, he said.

Saying that his country has disregarded the enemy’s sanctions and pressure, he added that it would strive to attain the goal.
