Vyacheslav Volodin, speaker of the State Duma of Russia, warned against the aftereffect of US-made missile strike against the country on November 18.

Recently, US President Biden approved Ukraine’s attack on the Russian territory with US-made long-range missiles. In connection with this, he said such a measure will only cause damage, but will not change the situation on the battlefield.

If such a thing occurs, Russia will surely cope with it and will not exclude the use of a new weapon system, which has never been used so far, he noted. 

That day, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also said that the countermeasure against the West-made long-range missile attack will be equivalent and strong.

If Ukraine uses long-range missiles to attack the Russian territory, it means that the US and its vassal states will directly take part in combat actions against Russia and, in this case, the essence and character of the conflict will radically change, she said.

With the Ukrainian authorities suffering repeated defeats, their Western supporters are making futile attempts to achieve an unattainable goal called the “strategic defeat of Moscow” by expanding this mixed war targeting Russia, she said, adding that any “weapon of miracle” Zelensky and his clan are begging for will have no effect on the special military operations.
